2003 Ford Falcon BA XR8 Ute

This is my 2003 Falcon BA XR8 ute.
After owning my 1970 Galaxie Sportsroof for many years, I had always admired, and wanted to put a 427 SOHC or Boss 429 into it. When the Quad Cam 5.4 engines became available in 2003 in the Aussie Falcon lineup, I figured that this was the next best thing to the monster engines of the past. And now of course, it came with a new factory warranty!
These engines are BIG! The engine is known here in Australia as the Boss 260, being 260Kw or around 350hp. It is backed by a 5 speed Tremec Gearbox.

Engine:	Boss 260 5.4 Litre V8. 4 Valves per Cylinder. DOHC per head. 260kw. (348hp)
Transmission:	5 Speed Tremec Manual.
Exhaust:	Stainless Steel Headers and Sports System. (Standard)
Body:	Factory Blood Orange Paint. Factory Body Kit (XR8 Option)
Wheels and Tyres:	19 x 8 FPV GT optional mags. Maxxis 245/35 x 19 tyres.
Suspension:	Lowered 30mm front and 50mm rear.
Standard Features:	ABS Brakes. Cruise Control. 100 watt, 4 speaker CD player. Climate Control.
Factory Options:	Alloy Sports (Roll) Bar. Tinted Windows.

With original 17 x 8 factory mags.
