1969 Falcon XW Ute
1969 Falcon XW Ute.
Bought: late 1974 / early 1975.
Sold: mid 1978.

 This was my first modded car. Originally it was a 221 cube, then eventually I fitted a 250 motor.
The biggest job was cutting and welding the head to suit the fitment of triple 1 3/4 SU carbies.
Photos show me attempting probably my first burnout, late one night on Marshall Rd, Beechboro, WA, around 1977/78.
This was a great way to spend my Student benefits!
I sold the ute to buy my Falcon XA GT in 1978.

Engine: 250ci 6 Cyl.
Transmission: 3 Spd Manual with Floor Shift.
Engine Modifications: Waggot Cam.
Three 1 3/4 inch SU carbs.
Extensive port work and combustion chamber polishing.
Extractors.
Wheels and Tyres: 14x7 ROH Mags
Torque Twisters
Rear Axle: 3.5:1 Ratio. LSD.
