Photos of the Falcon GT Club of WA _ EL GT In 1997, Ford and Tickford teamed together again to produce the EL GT, this time to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original XR GT of 1967. Only about 250 were made. The EFI 5.0L Windsor produced 200kw, and was backed by either a 5 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. The EL GT was a very up market vehicle, with much more comfort and refinement in handling, and now had "state of the art" engineering compared to the bare bones Falcon GTs of the past. Three colours were available, being Heritage Green, Sparkling Burgundy and Navy Blue. Wheels were factory 17x8.5 alloy 6 spoke.
