Replica Model Guns. My Collection.

The following pages are made up of some replica model guns in my collection.
They are plug firers, blank firers, and also include some deactivated rifles.

Replica Model Guns are not designed to shoot bullets.
Toy manufacturers mainly in Japan, made replica guns for collectors who fancied having the real thing, but could not afford them, or laws would not allow them.
As part of my militaria collecting, I bought my first replica model gun in 1980. It was a German Luger, followed shortly after by a PPK. They were pretty expensive at the time, compared to my wage, so I left it at those two for many years. It has only been in the last ten years that I have increased the size of the collection, and included replicas of all types.
Where I live, replica model guns are still legal to own, just don't try carrying one on you without a lawful reason. I mean, all they are is a lump of steel and wood, right? They can't fire anything! Importation of them has been banned, so only the ones already in the country are allowed, but no new ones can enter. Just don't be silly with them. Keep them locked away at home, and enjoy them. You do the wrong thing, and you get charged as if it were a real gun.
I have posted four pictures of each gun, and have attempted to take them at varying angles to make it interesting.
